I never get tired of the leaves — green, showy or fallen. Is there any better way of reminding yourself about the stages of life then looking at the leaves?

The thing about November, especially late November — you know the comfortable days on this side of winter are numbered. So when you get one, you take it, even if it’s just to revisit the familiar. Because if you don’t, you know you’ll be kicking yourself when the snow is falling and you need a thick sweater just to stand in front of the window and watch it blow by.
