Located on the Mississippi River in the Good Enough region of Southwest Wisconsin, Burly Flow is home to the Rivermen, Laddy’s Landing fishing resort, Burly Flow Field and its Prop Wash Cafe, several bars, Eldon’s Market and Toni’s Chill-N-Fill, which has actually been Jackie’s Chill-N-Fill for at least twenty years (but that’s a story in itself).

It’s also home (again) to Calum Mayweather.

Twenty-some years ago, having the good fortune of cashing in on his wealthy uncle’s misfortune (no wife, no kids, no seatbelt), Cal was a thirtysomething Chicagoan taking a shot at living above the Cheddar Curtain.

Then, a family illness pulled him toward a different future.

Now, divorced and looking for a fresh start after what seems like a lifetime away, he’s returned to a place that’s largely forgotten him in search of a person he barely remembers himself.
